This site is being established by the Commission as an initiative to promote provision of Government information in forms which all Australians can use and which comply with the requirements of the Disability Discrimination Act.
Where Government websites appear to depart substantially from accessibility requirements as explained in the Commission's World Wide Web Advisory Notes the Commission will
- post details here
- advise the Department or agency concerned as well as the Australian Government Information Management Office (AGIMO)
- remove the listing of the site concerned on being satisfied that remedial measures have been taken.
