Join the IncludeAbility Ambassador or Expert Advisory Group!
IncludeAbility is a project that seeks to promote equality in employment for people with disability.
We are starting the second phase of the IncludeAbility project, and we are looking for people who are interested in:
- becoming an IncludeAbility Ambassador or
- joining our Expert Advisory Group.
IncludeAbility Ambassadors
IncludeAbility Ambassadors are people with disability who promote the IncludeAbility project and our goal of achieving equality at work for people with disability.
Ambassadors can support the IncludeAbility project in different ways, depending on their interests and expertise. Activities that Ambassadors can be involved in include:
- attending IncludeAbility Employer Network meetings and providing guidance to the Network members
- leading disability inclusion training
- speaking publicly at events or to the media about their experiences in employment
- giving advice on the design of IncludeAbility resources and pilot employment programs
We are looking for people at any stage of their careers, employed or not, with experience or knowledge in the following areas:
- disability rights and employment equality
- strong engagement and public speaking skills
- engagement with diverse communities
- community advocacy and leadership
- innovative, strategic and strengths-based approach to problem-solving
Ambassadors will meet as a group 1-2 times a year and will be active until November 2026.
Expert Advisory Group
The Expert Advisory Group will provide lived experience of disability and subject matter expertise to the IncludeAbility project. It will work with the IncludeAbility project team and Steering Committee to support the project to meet its goals. We are looking for people with experience in:
- workplace accessibility and inclusion
- government employment policy, programs and services
- disability rights
- advocacy
- stakeholder engagement
- co-design
- academia or research
We are looking for people with diverse skills and backgrounds to represent the whole community. People with disability are encouraged to apply.
The Expert Advisory group will meet virtually at least four times a year. The Expert Advisory Group will be active until completion of the project in November 2026.

Payment
Both opportunities are paid. Rates of pay for both roles are as below:

Up to 2 hours | $200 |
2-3 hours | $300 |
Over 3 hours | $500 |
