About the Portfolio Budget Statement
The purpose of the Portfolio Budget Statement is to inform senators, members of parliament, and the public of the proposed allocation of resources to government outcomes. Agencies within a relevant portfolio are required to have a Portfolio Budget Statement.
The Australian Human Rights Commission is an agency that is situated within the Attorney-General's portfolio.
