Conciliation Register
The Conciliation Register provides summaries of a selection of complaints that have been resolved through the Australian Human Rights Commission’s conciliation process.
This information is provided to assist people involved in complaints to prepare for conciliation. This information is provided for guidance only and should not be considered or used as legal advice. Parties to complaints should seek independent legal advice if they require advice about outcomes appropriate to their particular circumstances.
Please note:
- The complaints summarised in the Conciliation Register are de-identified and the Commission cannot provide further information about these complaints.
- Complaints are resolved in conciliation on a ‘without admission of liability’ basis.
WARNING: THE SUMMARIES OF COMPLAINTS IN THE REGISTER REFLECT THE SUBJECT MATTER OF COMPLAINTS RECEIVED BY THE COMMISSION. THE REGISTER CONTAINS WORDS AND DESCRIPTIONS THAT MAY OFFEND.
